Following two full days at our school, Ofsted have confirmed that we remain a GOOD school and provision in our Early Years is also good.

Ofsted note the strength and stability of leadership, the quality of teaching and learning, the good behaviour of your children and children’s positive attitudes, confidence, enthusiasm and readiness to learn.  They also praise the quality of teaching and breadth our curriculum, the quality of inclusion and pastoral care and the positive relationships between children and adults across our whole school community, built on mutual respect and care. Our Early Years area is commended as vibrant and well planned, with lots of opportunities for children to develop across all learning areas.

This judgement is testimony to the contribution of our whole school community especially our pupils; they have worked and are working so hard, showing us and Ofsted that they make good progress, enjoy learning and achieve well.  This judgement that we are a good school is also a tribute to their parents and carers, who continue to support them and our school, to our dedicated governors and Local Authority advisers, to our volunteers and to our exceptionally hardworking and talented staff.

Thank you to everyone (pupils, parents, carers, visitors, governors and staff) who took time to share their views on all areas of our school with Ofsted inspectors, in person or online.  The outcome of this Ofsted inspection is due to teamwork at its best and the report validates our ethos – achieving together.   Thank you.
