Drop-off and pick-up parking
Unfortunately, we have had a return to some problems with the parking choices that parents are making at drop-off and pick-up time. As you are aware, the zig zag lines either side of the pedestrian crossing are no parking zones. However, some drivers are choosing to park here which causes a hazard for pedestrians using the crossing and for other road users. A further problem is caused by drivers parking or pulling up to drop-off on the pavements. There is an ANPR camera to try and enforce this rule but some drivers seem not to be worried about getting a fine! Please can we all work together to ensure that the road outside of school is safe for everybody. If you need to drive to school, the best parking solution is our agreement with Aldi and Matalan for use of their car park and the short walk to school from this location.

It has certainly been a chilly week and we've had a few children who were disappointed that we didn't get any snow. Now only four weeks left until the end of term. Have a great weekend.
