Summer Term Clubs
The new club offerings for the Summer Term are now well underway. The feedback from the children who are participating in them has been brilliant. Here you can see some of the members of our new Dance Club enjoying a session of Rock'n'Roll! Thanks to all the staff who are running these clubs for the enjoyment and benefit of the children, your commitment and dedication is very much appreciated.

Governor Updates
On Thursday evening this week, we held our latest Full Governing Board meeting. We were fortunate to appoint two new members to the board, both have a wide range of amazing experience and skills to bring to the team - welcome to Anthony and Diyan, we hope that you find the role interesting and rewarding.
We also spent some time looking at the results of the latest pupil wellbeing survey which has recently been completed. The results were really interesting. Some were as expected, e.g. the very high percentages of children who enjoy playtimes. Other results gave us an opportunity to explore what more we could do to support the children e.g. the number of children who feel that they don't always have someone at home to share worries with. We will be working on this in school to ensure that children know who they can turn to if support is needed. The other area is one that we have already worked on as part of our mental health week in terms of sleep - nearly 20% of children in KS2 reported that they didn't get enough sleep or rest. We will continue to work with the school to address this as we know how important sleep is to both physical and mental wellbeing.
