Autumn Term Curriculum Newsletters
For each year group we are now able to share the curriculum newsletters. These give you further information about the learning and routines for the term ahead. Please take some time to read them and get back to your child's class teacher if you have any questions. To read them, please click on the links below.
Well Being Ambassadors
I had the privilege this week of accompanying pupils from Year 6 to a Kingston Primary Schools Mental Health Conference. Our Well Being Ambassadors took part in a range of activities to help them develop their knowledge of how to support themselves and others with their well being. Part of the session was to write an action plan for how they can use the skills that they learnt to develop initiatives across the whole school. They came up with lots of fantastic ideas so please look out for all the new well being support schemes that they will be running.
Surrey Cricket Coaching
This week we started a six week cricket coaching programme led by Surrey Cricket Foundation for all pupils in Years 4 and 5. Children in KS2 had a special cricket assembly where they learnt about the skills and qualities gained from the sport and two teams had a bowl off in the hall. They also shared some information about a free cricket club for girls that takes place every Thursday between 18:00 and 20:00 at Coombe Girls School. It is open for girls aged 8 to 15. Please contact Daisy Wicks dwicks@surreycricket.com if you are interested in a space.

Clubs
It has been great to see the new clubs in action this term. I've heard positive reports from the Tae Kwon Do club and the picture below shows how hard the Lego Club participants have been working. This week the challenge was to build the tallest tower - the winner managed 37cm!
I hope that you all have a lovely weekend.
