Save the Children Christmas Jumper Day
Thank you everyone for the support with our festive non-uniform day to raise funds for Save the Children. The children looked very bright, colourful and sparkly! As a result of all the fun we are able to send a King's Oak community donation of over £300 to the charity - well done everyone.
Attendance success
As I know you are all aware, we put great importance on the children being in school on time and every day. This week it has been particularly impressive that given the time of year, the large number of bugs circulating and the attempts of local roadworks to keep everyone away, that our attendance this week has been its strongest for several months! This is a great achievement and I hope that this positive picture will continue until the end of term!
Santa has arrived!
It has been wonderful this week to see Santa taking up his residency in the King's Oak grotto - it looks amazing and the children who have visited him so far have had a wonderful time. There are still a few tickets remaining for next week, he will be here on Monday, Tuesday and Wednesday after school before he needs to head off to visit other places ahead of the big day!
To book tickets, please click here.
We also need to get some more volunteers to help out with the grotto sessions next week - if you have any capacity, please sign up here to give your details.
