Year 6 - Thames Young Mariners
Well done to our Year 6 students who this week have completed the watersports challenges at Thames Young Mariners - they excelled at stand-up paddleboarding, raft-building, kayaking and canoeing. They also had the opportunity to develop their survival skills in the woods and slept for two nights under canvas. Well done to everyone who attended for being such a great group of children to take away on school journey. Thanks also to all the staff who accompanied the children and made it all possible.
Parent Staff Association
The Summer Fair is taking place between 12:00 and 15:00 on Saturday 24th June - hopefully you all already have this date firmly in your calendar. Next Friday (the day before the fair) we will be having a non-uniform day to gather donations for the bottle tombola. Please hand your donations to your child’s class teacher.
We also need your support with volunteers to help set-up, run stalls and tidy-up after the fair. The success of the event will rely on a big team effort to make it all work - if you are able to help out, even just for 1 hour, please follow this link to let us know your availability. Thank you in advance for your support with this.
Year 6 Leavers Hoodies
A reminder about the deadline for ordering your Year 6 pupil a leavers hoody. The deadline for orders is on the 19th June. The company suggest that you order a size up to get a good baggy fit. Please follow the link below to place your order. It is important that no child feels excluded from having a hoody, if there are financial reasons for you not being able to access one, please let me know and we’ll see how we can support you.

Drowning Prevention Week
There have recently been several high profile tragic cases of children drowning in the UK. Please take some time to talk to your children about water safety - you can see some resources to support you in the link and poster below.
