Congratulations to Year 6
This week our remarkable learners in Year 6 have been completing their end of Key Stage 2 SATs. They all approached the tests with great positivity and courage and we are so proud of how much they have achieved. Whatever the results, we know that they tried their best and gave all the questions a go - well done to them all. They were rewarded this afternoon with some ice-cream treats. Thank you to everyone at home too for your support in ensuring that the children were here everyday and on time and for encouraging revision and rest ahead of the tests. The papers have been sent off for external marking and we will be able to inform the children of their results before the end of term.
Email outage - Saturday to Tuesday
Over the bank holiday weekend all schools in London were affected by an email outage. I just wanted to let you know that if you had emailed the school office or a staff member during this time that the email will have not been received. Unfortunately you will not have received a failure notification and we will not have any record of the email. I don’t want any email to go unanswered so if you sent something to us during this period and have not heard back from us, please can you resend it. I am sorry for the delay or any inconvenience caused.
New Malden Fire Station Open Day

Family-friendly fun bike ride
The first family-friendly Fun Kingston Bike Ride will take place on Sunday 4 June, coinciding with World Bicycle Day (3 June) and the start of Bike Week (6 June). The ride has been organised by Kingston Cycling Campaign with the support of other local groups (Full Cycle Community Bike Project and Kingston Hive). Their aim is to help build confidence levels amongst all ages and abilities by taking in quiet roads and cycle routes in a fun and sociable way.
The ride will set off from Fairfield Park at 11am and the route will go into Richmond Park constituency, including Latchmere Park and Lower Ham Road. There will be both 4.5 mile and 7.5 mile options.

Wishing you all a fantastic weekend - I cannot believe that we have only two weeks until half-term!
