Yr 5 Easter Story
On Wednesday, Year 5 were invited to take part in The Easter Experience at New Malden Baptist Church. The afternoon was organised and run by Insight who regularly visit our school to deliver workshops and assemblies. We were told the Christian story of Easter through drama and acting. The children thoroughly enjoyed this and asked many interesting and thought provoking questions. They also became detectives for the afternoon and used artifacts, books and clues to find out more about Christian people and what their faith means to them. All in all, the children and teachers in Year 5 enjoyed their visit and will carry on their learning about Easter in their RE lessons.
PSA Treat Sale
Thank you to everyone who came along to enjoy the PSA Treat Sale after school today. There were lots of great items on offer - the plants and Mother's Day treats were very popular. Well done to the PSA for supporting the school so brilliantly with another very successful event.

Sepsis Detection
Thank you to one of our parents for sharing with us some sepsis awareness resources. Please take a moment to read the following information which at some point could help to save a life. Sepsis is the body’s life-threatening overreaction to an infection. Without timely treatment, sepsis can rapidly lead to organ failure and death, but it’s often treatable if caught quickly. That’s why it’s important to know the signs to look for.

Easter Egg Appeal

On behalf of one of our parents, we are supporting Paige Hall’s Easter Egg Collection charity which sends Easter eggs to children in hospital. If you are able to donate an Easter egg or some cash which can be used to purchase additional eggs, please can you send your kind donations into school before the end of term and we will ensure that they get passed on. If it is easier for you, you can purchase directly from the Amazon wish list and the donations will be sent directly to the charity. Thank you in advance for your support with this wonderful cause.
