Year 6 had a fantastic time showcasing their learning during our World War 2 Afternoon yesterday. Joined by over 50 parents and guests, our children shared amazing projects and presentations inspired by their World War 2 Topic including book reviews, ration food recipes (with tasters – delicious!), singing and dancing. Everyone loved it when Year […]
After checking the forecast (50 mph winds!), our Forest School Leaders decided we should stay at school to practise some of the skills we had already experienced in the woods. We used lashing to create ‘forest eyes’ from pencils and coloured wool and took turns outside, to practise fire lighting with flint and steel and […]
Year 6 are really looking forward to welcoming parents and carers to their World War 2 Afternoon tomorrow – the Grand Finale of their topic learning in which they will showcase their singing, dancing and DT projects! We have also been practising our cooking skills and have been preparing some tasty wartime food that we […]
Year 5 and Year 6 had a great time at the recent Kingsmeadow training session – we love being part of the Chelsea Challenge Programme! The programme is offered exclusively to select schools which then enjoy specialist coaching from the Chelsea Foundation, school visits from Chelsea FC Women’s players and exclusive offers including match day […]
Our Year 5 Boys’ Football Team came 3rd in a qualifying tournament last week and therefore made it through to the Borough Finals (facing Richmond schools) in April. Our team all played amazing football and showed excellent sportsmanship and team work. Thank you to you all!
As a Forest School, we love taking every opportunity to enjoy hands-on learning in a woodland environment, whatever the weather. Year 2 had an amazing time this week – building dens, crossing streams, climbing trees and creating some wonderful ‘forest art’. The Forest School programme enhances emotional and social wellbeing in addition to developing children’s […]

All year groups, from Pre-School to Year 6, have showcased their musicianship and drama skills to packed audiences of parents, carers, governors, family friends and each other. Our children (and staff!) have all worked incredibly hard over the […]
Yesterday, we celebrated the Christmas ethos of giving and brought in our pocket money for Save the Children Charity, in return for wearing our Christmas jumpers to school. We have never seen (or heard!) so many different festive designs – flashing noses, jingling bells, sparking snow, glittering tinsel, reindeer, snowmen and even decorated dinosaurs – […]
Our Choir members sang their hearts out as they entertained shoppers and staff at John Lewis in Kingston during a fabulous festive performance. Thank you to everyone who came to support us – we hope you enjoyed singing, clapping, jingling and swaying along as much as we enjoyed performing. We have recently been awarded the […]
Last week, Year 5 children invited their parents/carers to a Tudor Banquet Afternoon which was a culmination of their learning about the Tudors! Children presented their Tudor artwork and amazing written work about the Tudors, shared their home-made Tudor food and performed a Tudor dance (to Tudor music!)…it was great fun!
