As part of our learning from last term, we created a piece of art inspired by the Great Wave by the artist Hokusai. We learnt about the life of the artist as well as how he went about creating this piece of art. Before creating our work, we practised the techniques needed for sketching. We then layered our work using crayons and water colours.
