In maths, we have started place value and have been thinking about the value of 1000. We know that 1000 ones make 1000, 100 tens make 1000 and 10 hundreds make 1000. This week, we worked in pairs to make a strip of paper 1 metre long. We did this by cutting 10 strips of paper which were 100mm long and joining them together. We then placed them against a metre stick to see how accurate we were.
