This week, as part of our Ancient Greek topic, we designed and created some Greek pottery. We looked at traditional geometric patterns that were used at the time as well as other influences from other parts of the world. Once we moulded our pots, we painted them orange to look like the traditional terracotta, added our patterns using black and finally put a gloss on them to give them a shine.
