For our RE unit this term, we have been learning about the importance of celebrations. This week we looked at the importance of keeping the Sabbath for Jewish people. It is seen as a day of rest where followers of Judaism spend time with their families, rest, pray, don't cook or clean and use it as a time to recharge.
