This week we started our new English text "Street Child," a story about a Victorian boy recounting the events of his life. Today we acted out a short part of the story where Jim, a poor child, uses his last shilling to buy a meat pie. Along the way, he sees some other hungry boys and tries his hardest not to get chased by them.
