We were again busy this week in Year 4 exploring our 'States of Matter' science topic. We continued to investigate solids, liquids and gases whilst looking at what these would look like as particles. We learnt that everything is made up of matter, which is made up of different particles and atoms. We saw that the atoms in a solid were very compact, liquid atoms moved around slightly and atoms in gases moved around very freely away from one another. We then reenacted this and became human atoms in the playground, representing solids, liquids and gases.
