This week in Year 3 we have been designing and building our own stone age houses. To begin with, we looked at the different types of houses and investigated what materials were used to make them. 

Then we had a go designing our own houses, thinking about the materials we have access to in order to make them.

After, we used hay and PVA to build the roof of our houses. Although the classroom got a little messy, we had so much fun creating our roofs. 

We are excited to use new skills and continue building our houses after half-term.
