This week the children in Year 1 and Year 2 have been drawing story maps of How to Catch a Star.

First we drew a shared story map. Then we wrote our own version of the story. Next the children drew their own map. Then they were able to re-tell the story using their own map. Next week the children will write their own version of the story with their maps to help them. 

The children will bring the story maps home next week, so they can read the story to you. 

This is the last newsletter of the term, as we break up on Thursday next week, so I will take this opportunity to wish you all a Happy Easter and see you in the Summer Term.
