All the children have had such a great week. They have come back to school so enthusiastic and ready to learn. Everyone remembered the rules and routines of the school day and were so happy to see their friends. 

We have been reminding the children this week all about the Zones of Regulation. We talked again about different feelings and looked at the feelings stones above and talked about the different feelings represented by each one. 

We have designated a special area of the classroom which will have resources to support the children when they have strong feelings and need time to relax. The children decided what resources we would need to have there to help them transition back into the green zone. 

Next week we will be continuing to learn about circles and triangles in maths.
