Blossom Blue
Good listening
Every day some of the children take part in a special attention and listening group.
This week the children watched as the Teaching Assistant put paint on the paper to make a picture.
The children learnt how to mix colours to make a new colour. They used red and white to make pink, blue and yellow to make green and red and blue to make purple. Then we painted one half of the butterfly and, to make sure it was symmetrical, we folded the paper over so that it printed on the other side. The children were very excited to see the final picture of the butterfly. Some of the children used this idea when making their own pictures in the afternoon.
