The children were able to identify the correct shape on a Powerpoint with part of the shape hidden. Next we looked at the shapes in detail and counted how many sides they had. 

After that, the children went on a shape hunt around Blossom Blue and took photos of what they found. Here are some of the shapes they noticed  in the classroom. We also talked about how some shapes were almost a rectangle or almost a square when they had curved corners.
