This week we have been learning routines and teaching the children about how to talk about their feelings. What makes them happy when they are sad for example. We've been learning songs and doing lots of talking and describing feelings we can see and feel. The above picture shows a way the children can start a conversation about something they are feeling.

We would like to remind everyone about the rules around jewellery, in Reception we ask everyone to remove all jewellery and earrings, even studs. This is just because the children have a very active time in our environment and this can create a potential hazard. Please remove any earrings before school and if there is a reason this is not possible please let an adult know and we can provide tape to keep the children safe.
