This week in Reception we read 'Martha Maps It Out' by Leigh Hodgkinson. The children learnt about what a map is and the different places that maps can show. They drew maps of their classrooms and explored the school using positional language. Some of the children also had a go at using tea bags to stain paper and create their own pirate maps.
