This week in Reception we have been reading The Oak Tree by Julia Donaldson. We have used story maps to retell and act out the story. We explored outside to find some 'roots' and 'shoots' as part of our vocabulary lessons. The children also learnt about the name of their school and went to visit the school oak tree.
