This week we have been looking at Martha Maps It Out, a book about maps and the universe, our planet and communities. The children have been having fun drawing their own maps, like their commute to school and maps of their houses. The one above is a map of one of our classrooms. 

In maths we have been looking at strategies to count to 20, specifically what happens if there are too many to subitise.  Next week we will be continuing to look at working up to 20 and looking at addition and subtraction.

Our garden is starting to grow after Easter, thank you for all your seed donations. The children are full of wonder and excitement seeing the plants getting bigger and bigger.
