This week our new book is The Gigantic Turnip. This book introduces growth, plants and vegetables with some farmyard animals. The children have been busy learning the story and working out actions and sequencing the events themselves. Next week they will also be looking at the language used in the story.

In maths they have been exploring the composition of numbers within 10 and will continue this next week. 

Any donations for seeds or soil for our newly dug allotment area would be gratefully received as we wait for the spring frosts to move on so we can start planting.
