This week we have been learning all about the story of a thousand-year-old oak tree. The story covers the growth of the tree and the passing of time. We have been using this as a chance to talk about the changing seasons and allow the children to think of how to best describe them. We decided Spring will have both sun and rain so maybe some rainbows too!

In maths we have been looking at the composition of number up to 10, letting us work on putting 2 groups together for a total. 

Next week we will be diving deeper into the language and vocabulary of our story as well as continuing to work within the composition of number.
