An eventful week. On Remembrance Day we observed a minute of silence in honour of our fallen heroes. It was challenging for our little ones but fingers on our lips helped. On Tuesday, we had a giggle at our Odd Socks, an initiative to highlight Anti-Bullying Week. We continue to encourage the children to say “No, thank you” when somebody says or does something that makes them feel uncomfortable. Please reinforce this at home to help equip them with strategies to cope in difficult situations.

Our book of the week, Knuffle Bunny, tells the story of Trixie and Daddy running an errand but forgetting her special bunny along the way. It teaches prepositions such as: under, behind, beside, inside and through.
