This week we have been focusing on transitions to Reception. The children have been meeting their new teachers, visiting their classrooms and garden. They enjoyed listening to stories and exploring new toys and resources. 

During the story input, the children enjoyed listening to the story of The Three Billy Goats Gruff. They have been joining in with the repeated line, ‘Who's that trip trapping over my bridge?’ and we have been thinking about the different characters in the story and discussing our favourite characters. 

While outside, we have enjoyed creating obstacle courses around the garden using a wide variety of resources to create different challenges.
