This week in Nursery the children have been listening to the story ‘The Little Red Hen’. They have really enjoyed retelling the story and joining in with the repeated lines. We have been discussing whether the characters in the story were kind and why it is important to help our friends. 

Outside, the children have been enjoying exploring the music shed and stage area. They particularly enjoyed playing the percussion instruments and retelling the story of the three little pigs, using the masks and materials to act out the different characters.  

During our maths input we have been practising our number formation. It would be lovely if the children could continue to practice writing numbers 1-5 at home. I would love to see some photos on Tapestry that we could share with the class after the holiday.
