Nursery
Visit to Bocketts Farm
This week in nursery the children have continued listening to the story ‘Farmer Duck’. They have loved joining in with the book's repeated phrase “How goes the work?” and all the animal noises, especially ‘Quack’.
During carpet sessions we have started to discuss the season of Spring with the children and they have been enjoying discussing the changes we can see in our garden and wider school. We have also been watching a BBC video which has created a lot of great talking points on the carpet. The children have enjoyed discussing all the different flowers and Easter traditions, especially the Easter egg hunts. We have also been learning a new Spring song. I will share the links below for anyone who would like to watch it with their children.

We would like to thank all the parents and carer volunteers who supported our trip today. The children had a great time exploring the farm and especially enjoyed feeding the sheep and goats.
Our next story is: The Very Hungry Caterpillar
Next week our number of the week is: 3
