The Tiger Who Came to Tea
This week's book was all about an unexpected visitor who dropped in for tea and unfortunately ate all the food in the house. The story sparked much discussion around who would be happy to have a tiger around for tea (everyone!) and who thought this was possible (everyone!). We then considered the idea of taking a giraffe or lion in the car to play in the park. Again, everyone thought this was a splendid idea. When you are three, the world is full of possibility and adventure.
We learnt all about shapes (circles, squares and triangles) so please do point these shapes out at home and in other environments.
Thursday's weather was very exciting (freezing and hail) but made it difficult for us to keep teaching our children that it is, in fact, Spring.
