This week in preschool we have been making our Father’s Day cards. We have been talking about what Father’s Day is and what we can do to celebrate it. 

To make our cards we did some string painting, where we dipped a piece of string into different coloured paints and made lots of patterns on our cards. 

We have also been exploring our sensory tray this week. We had a variety of cereal for the children to experience using their senses. We used spoons and our hands to crush the cereal and then place it in bowls. We were talking about the different textures of the different cereals. We used language such as crunchy, crispy, soft and hard.
