This week we have been reading The Very Hungry Caterpillar. In the story we heard about a caterpillar who ate lots of different fruits. As part of the story, the children had the opportunity to try the fruits for themselves. We tried strawberries, apples, plums, pears and oranges, which the children really enjoyed. 

Outside, the children have been playing football, tennis and running games together. This is a great way to build on the children's hand and eye coordination, balance and motor skills. We have also been mark making using chalk in the playground to create wonderful artwork.
