Pre School

Creative Play
We have been very busy in Pre School this week having lots of fun doing creative activities. We started the week by doing a group painting exercise. We took it in turns to choose a ball and a colour of paint. We then bounced the ball across a large piece of paper to create a collage. While doing this, we were learning our colours, turn taking and improving our motor skills. We also created a mark-making opportunity in our builders tray using chalk. We created pictures which help us to develop our early writing skills.
Outside, the children created a bug hotel, we transported mud from one container to another, we added some bugs to the area. The children had great fun playing together digging and filling up buckets.
Next week we are going to read Postman Bear - Bear will deliver letters to his friends. Can we help him deliver them, and what's his special surprise?
