In Pre-School this week we celebrated Chinese New Year and the children took part in a number of activities to mark this occasion. In our art area, the children have been very busy making lanterns using glue and glitter to decorate them. 

During our snack time, the children were very excited as they had the opportunity to try noodles and prawn crackers. While we were eating, the children listened to a story called Chinese New Year, which is a lovely story which explains the tradition of new year. 

Next week our book will be Hide and seek Little Pig - a story of Pig and Hen playing hide and seek. Can we help Pig and her friends find Hen?
