The children had fun in science this week. They learnt about transparent, translucent and opaque materials. Using a torch, they observed how much light was visible through different types of material. They then chose the material they thought would be the best for a pair of curtains. 

In maths, they have been looking at making 10 to add and subtract. 

During English lessons, the children have been recapping the story of The Three Little Wolves and the Big Bad Pig. Thinking about the story sequence and looking at how to write a diary entry.

Next week, we will be learning about algorithms in computing. Aviators in history and different methods to make strong structures in DT.
