This week we enjoyed writing about Jack and the Baked Beanstalk. We wrote a diary entry from the giant's perspective. Everybody worked very hard, especially on their handwriting. 

In maths, the children worked hard using a number line and dienes to complete addition and subtraction calculations. 

Today we went on our trip to London Wetlands. We had an amazing adventure. First we boarded the coach and travelled to Barnes. Then we were shown where to put our lunches and given a quick safety talk. Afterwards, we split into two groups and some of us went on the muddy adventure trail, and visited the adventure playground. The rest of the year group went to meet Ava and took part in small group activities and challenges. Once we were finished, just before getting back onboard the coach we went to see the two resident Otters being fed. Thank you to all the adults who came along to support us. We had a wonderful trip!
