Every morning in Year 2, we start our maths lessons with a fluency session where we recap and speed up our recall of basic number facts.  We often use these basic number facts to help us when calculating with larger numbers.  This week we have been focusing on recalling doubles and halves and learning how to double and halve two-digit numbers.  We've had some exciting news - hot off the press - Year 2 have been invited to see another production at the Polka Theatre in Wimbledon: Jack vs Giant.  This will take place on Wednesday 1st March (more details to follow) and, as part of the Curtain Up! scheme, the tickets are free.
