The children were very busy in the final week of term. 

They finally got to paint their fruit sculptures and were very pleased with the results. Today, they put a layer of glue on them to seal and protect the colour. They will be dry and ready to go home after the holidays. 

A plea to all Year 2 parents to check parent mail and agree for us to take your child to the Polka Theatre it is on the Wednesday after we return from holiday, so there is not much time to gather your permission, and we are still missing 21 children.  It is a free trip and it would be a shame to not take everyone with us. 

In addition to our art lessons, we have been learning about road safety in PSHE. 

The children did lots of consolidation in maths, using all the strategies we have learnt this term. 

Next term we will be starting the Lonely Sea Dragon and we will also have opportunities to make fruit and vegetable kebabs.
