Year 1 have continued on from last week, learning about part-whole models in their maths lessons. They have filled in missing parts and wholes as well as creating their own part-whole models. Over the last 2 weeks, they have used objects and pictures to help them with part-whole models to create different numbers up to 10.

Next week we will continue learning about everyday materials in our science lessons. It would be great if you have the opportunity to discuss with your child what objects around the home are made from!
