Year 1

More, less or equal?

In our recent maths lessons, Year 1 have been focussing on comparing quantities using the language of more than, less than or equal. We have then progressed to representing these words using the appropriate symbols. Finally, we have learned that if we swap the numbers in a sentence, we have to reverse the symbol in the middle. Unless, of course, the numbers are equal! Next week we shall be starting a new book in English, Little Rabbit Foo-Foo, which is always great fun to read.
