In this week's art lesson, Year 1 have been exploring different techniques with watercolour paints. Amongst the different techniques we tried were: painting onto wet paper, dabbing wet paint with a paper towel or with our finger, painting over wax crayon and even sprinkling salt onto wet paint. This session was a real eye-opener for the different effects that could be achieved with paint.
