In science this week, the children were learning about different groups of animals. They learnt about how to recognise mammals, reptiles and birds. They worked in groups to sort pictures and toy animals into the correct groups by looking at whether they had hair, scales or feathers. Next week in science, they will learn how to recognise insects, amphibians and fish.
