Year 1
A trip to the Triangle!
On Tuesday, both Year 1 classes went on our Geography field work visit to the Triangle. Along the way, we identified the different types of buildings that we saw. We thought about different types of land use, such as places for living, shopping and having fun. We also discussed the local transport links, such as where the buses and the trains we saw might be heading. On the way back, we visited Dickerage Road Park, where we saw a small woodland and talked about how long trees can live for (apparently Mr Smart is older than the trees!). The children showed exemplary behaviour while they were out of school, and we are very proud of them.
