As part of our Design Technology curriculum, Year 1 have been making fruit salad. In the process we have developed the following skills:

- following a recipe (ours included bananas, blueberries, apples, pears and kiwi fruit)

- chopping safely using a knife

- understanding why fruit salad is an especially healthy dessert.

We all enjoyed tasting the results and would like to remind you how easy it is to make at home. Perhaps we might impress you with our chopping skills soon!
