As well as our learning in phonics, reading, writing , maths and the wider curriculum, Year 1 have been learning music with the help of the online programme Charanga. We have been learning to perform a song called Hey You! This features lots of different ways to perform the song and is especially helping us to understand the difference between pulse and rhythm. As the term progresses, we will also be joining in with instruments. The children have enjoyed the song very much already.
