Year 1 have been continuing our learning about 2-digit numbers by counting different objects in sets of ten. We have then progressed to exchanging sets of 10 1s for 1 ten. Soon we will be able to recognise and build every number on the 100 square! We have also begun to make our own toys using junk modelling - it would be very helpful if pupils could bring some clean recycled objects, such as cereal packets, plastic bottles and egg boxes to help us with this.
