This week, as part of our English learning around our new class book, The Tiny Seed, Year 1 have been re-telling the story using a sensory approach. We went outside into the Year 1 area to re-tell the story using actions and sound effects. The children showed excellent engagement with the story and this activity will undoubtedly help us when it comes to writing about the book. As a quick reminder, we will be holding a briefing for all parents on Wednesday 2nd April, 9-9.30am in the New Hall about the Year 1 Phonic Screening and why it is important.
