Along with the rest of the school, Year 1 enjoyed World Book Day on Thursday. After being privileged to meet the author and illustrator of Jessie and JoJo, we joined in with a whole variety of activities. We used our drama skills to freeze-frame key scenes of the story, made our own bother-bugs (worries from the story) and made our own worry boxes (also from the story). The children participated very well in all the activities and showed excellent behaviour throuthout the day. Just a quick reminder that the deadline for any outstanding contributions towards our theatre workshop is Wednesday 12th March. Once again our sincere thanks to everyone who has already contributed.
