In Blossom, we have guided reading lessons four times a week. In guided reading we focus on skills such as prediction, sequencing events and retrieving information. In particular, we focus on inference-based questions and in our lessons we participate in a lot of discussion around these questions before recording our answers. In Blossom Green, we are focusing on the story of 'The Monster of the Deep' and in Blossom Red we are learning about Paddington.
